Tharen and You - Speaking a Dead Language

Within the original Remnant a language was created by the Council of the guild and was taught to its members. The Remnant worked underground and in the public, which meant that in some instances secrecy was vital to the guild overall. The language that was created by Taurohtar and his nobles was called "Tharen."

When the original Remnant was wiped out completely with Nixxiom being its only survivor, he was the only individual on Azeroth who could speak and write in this newly-developed language. Here in this thread I will give you a list of words and phrases that are open for your character to learn ICwise from small tomes Nixxiom has written for our members to read through.

Asi - Hello
Desi - Goodbye
Anthar - Dark / Void of Light
An- Light
Whuto - Honor
Whuto'hum - A home/place of honor. This can be used as a reference to the guild The Remnant
Gra - City
Uhn - Lord
Ash'ven - To be brave. Bravery
Ash'venthar - Coward or cowardly
Te - Sir
Neve - Night Elf
Polte - Human
Derv - Dwarf
Rok - Orc
Junje - Undead or to be dead
Swo'thar - Death. To die

If you wish to try and speak Tharen outloud then follow these simple rules:
1. The first "A" in any word is pronounced as "Ae." However, if the very first letter of the word is an A, then pronounce the A as Ae with a slight "R" sound at the end of it. Meaning that the word Ashevn for example would be pronounced as "Aer'Shevn." You'll need to roll your tongue for the "R" sound.

2. "J's" are pronounced as "H's" in Tharen. "V's" are always pronounced strongly. "U's" are pronounced as "O's."
